Xiangshan teaches people a famous saying: “When you pick it up, you will go in detail, like a fish dragon swimming in the rivers and seas, and you will be in absent and unobstructed.” [1]What is this? According to the “Book of History”, “Fu Ziqing asked for advice and asked for a brief remark. The answer was: ‘Gen’s back, and he would not bearing to take care of his body, walking in the courtyard, but not seeing the person.’”[2] Ziqing was born in Xiangshan, and Xiangshan once commented: “There is a very high character, and no one else can achieve it”[3]. Another door student also remembered that: “The teacher and the chief teacher are from the door, and the most meaningful one is Fu Ziqing. The first Ziqing asked to teach, and the teacher and the chief teacher have Gen back, walking, self-right, and nothing.” [4] According to this “Gen back”, it is originally the hexagram “Yi Ji·Gen Gua” [5], and the Confucians of the Song Dynasty valued it very much. It is regarded as the essence of Confucian kung fu discussion. For example, Zhou Dunxi believed that “A “Fa Hua Ji” only requires one “Gen” hexagram.” [6] Er Cheng believed that: “It is better to read a “Gen” hexagram than to read a “Gen” hexagram.” [7] Zhu Ziyi said: “The “Gen” hexagram is the best hexagram” [8]. Xiangshan is no exception and will be taught to the most satisfying door. It can be seen that this “Genbei” actually has the position of “big leap” in its system. 1. The first explanation of “Genbei” – the arrival of the mind
Before the discussion, it is necessary to review the basic scale of Confucianism, because the above analysis of the objects Shan, Yichuan and others are all derived from this. (I) “If external things are not connected, internal desires are not aroused” – Yichuan’s mistake of “Gen-behind”
In the era of Xiangshan’s career, his learning problems could not be affected by Cheng and Zhu Hongda. If you don’t see it, you can’t communicate with things. If you don’t contact external things, you won’t arouse internal desires. This “please be at ease with its cessation” refers to the nature of being at ease with its sanity. Secondly, Yichuan explained that the reason why this body was destroyed is “moving from desire”. And there are three causes of the generation. First, people have “body” and “I”, that is, the above-mentioned natures, which are the internal foundations that are produced. The second is that there is “things”, that is, the internal cause of intimacy. But it is not enough to have these two things, but also to add the ability to feel the heart. In this way, the heart under the body is enticed by external things, and the nature of the movement is born to see. Again, Yichuan proposed that “Gen’s back” is an important skill to revive the body, that is, the body itself actively engages in inviolation and dispels internal interference, thereby eliminating objects to control desires. First, “not gaining one’s own body”, that is, “not seeing one’s own body”, and do not let the temperament of one’s own psychological meaning be cruel, and to be selfless, he can achieve “no self” and “safe”. The second is to “go to the court and not see the person”, that is, to not deal with foreign objects, actively refuse to avoid internal causes, thereby suppressing the occurrence of desire. However, Yichuan’s complete skill is the inner control of desire, but without inner benevolence, and he is the main person and is alone.
